An author friend asked an interesting question about what motivates a person to write . . .
Why do I write?
Well I don't write to make money, or become famous. That boat sailed away many years ago. LOL
And since I don't write fiction maybe my motivation is a bit different from those who do.
I'm not sure but I think that I write to answer questions. Sometimes they are ones that I need the answers to in order to understand the world around me.
Sometimes I need to just express what I feel, have learned, surmise, or understand about an issue, societal problem, or solution.
And sometimes, when things get tough, I write humor as a release...hence my friend boB!
